Influential to Simple Pragmatism are the following metaphilosophies and ideologies:

• The Old Testament (HSCB)
• Classical Stoicism (Zeno, Aurelius, and Epictetus)
• American Pragmatism (Peirce, Dewey, William James)
• Kantian Pragmatism

For now, you need not worry about these influences. As valuable as they are, they include some ideas which are complicated and do not scale well from my point of view. As a first step, Simple Pragmatism aims to truncate these complexities.
